Health risks

Below you can read information about the risks of getting a tattoo. Please read this carefully. Please be open about your own health so that the artists at Victrix Tattoo can take this into account and provide you with the best experience.

How can I make an appointment with you?

You can fill out the contact form on our booking page or send us an email at info@victrixtattoo.com

Why are you asking for a deposit?

We require a deposit to secure your appointment. This amount will be €50. This amount will be deducted from the total amount at checkout. We ask for a deposit to protect the artist's time. Should you ultimately decide not to come, there is no longer time to fill that slot with another client. It is possible to cancel or reschedule the appointment 72 hours before the start of the appointment while retaining your deposit.

Do you also tattoo 16 or 17 year olds?

Although it is legally allowed for 16-year-olds to get a tattoo without parental consent, we believe it is important for parents to have given their approval. Based on our own experience, we evaluate each situation individually. Depending on the idea you have, we will make a decision that will protect our customers.

Can I prepare something for my appointment?

Sure, you can do a few things to prepare yourself. It would be great if you have slept well. Try to eat something beforehand and especially bring some snacks if your appointment is going to last longer than an hour. All of this will make the process much more pleasant.

Where can I find the price for getting a tattoo?

You can find our price indication on our prices page. This is only an indication and the final price will be determined at the time of the appointment.

Can multiple people get a tattoo during an appointment?

That is certainly possible. It is of course nice to have something symbolic or unique done together with someone you love. Please indicate this on our contact form.

What are the disadvantages of finger tattoos?

Fingers and hands need more grip. Therefore, the body constantly exchanges cells in these areas. As a result, the tattoo will naturally fade faster than on other body parts. This can often lead to regret and touch-ups, which brings higher costs.

Do you also do a touch-up on an existing tattoo that I already have?

You can schedule a touch-up with us for an existing tattoo that you did not get from us. Of course, there are regular costs associated with this just like for a new tattoo that is applied. This is because the artist needs to reimagine and prepare your tattoo to make it look as beautiful as new.

What are the costs for a touch-up of a tattoo that I had done with you?

When you have gotten a tattoo with us and you notice after a maximum of two months that your tattoo could use a touch-up, feel free to let us know. This is free.

Do you charge by the hour?

We do not charge per hour but per size and complexity. You can find the prices on our pricing page. If you have a great idea in mind that will require more preparations and time because it is a large design, a project price will be considered. If you have a budget, you can of course let us know, and we can work together to see what fits best within your budget.

When can I see the drawing of my design?

Our artists try to have a sketch ready for a large project about a week in advance. At the time of the appointment, the final project will be completed, and you will see the final result then. If any small adjustments are needed, that can be done at that moment. For all other tattoo work, you will see your design on the day of the appointment. Here too, there are still possibilities for adjustments.

Do you also accept cash?

Yes, we accept cash, but you can also pay with a card.

How long can I not swim or exercise with a new tattoo?

For up to two weeks after getting tattooed, you should not swim or put any weight on the tattooed area with sports activities. Avoid the sun, tanning beds, saunas, and steam baths for at least two weeks as well. The tattooed skin remains very sensitive to sunlight even after healing. Therefore, always apply sunscreen to your tattoo.
