F.A.Q.

1. How can I make an appointment with you?

You can make an appointment by filling out the contact form on our booking page. Prefer direct contact? Feel free to send us an email at info@victrixtattoo.com.

2. Why do you ask for a deposit?

To confirm your appointment, we require a deposit of €50. This amount will be deducted later from the total price of your tattoo. With this deposit, we reserve time in the artist's schedule. If an appointment is canceled at the last minute, it is often no longer possible to reschedule that time for another client. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours in advance while keeping your deposit.

3. Do you also do tattoos on 16 or 17-year-olds?

By law, 16- and 17-year-olds are allowed to get a tattoo without their parents' consent. Nevertheless, we believe it is important that parents are aware of this and give their approval. That is why we assess each application carefully and on a case-by-case basis. In doing so, we look at the design, among other things, and at what is in the best interest of the customer.

4. Can I prepare anything for my appointment?

Sure, there are a few things you can do to prepare well for your appointment. Make sure you get enough sleep and eat something beforehand. Will your appointment take longer than an hour? Then bring some snacks as well. This will make the process a lot more pleasant for you.

5. Where can I find the price for getting a tattoo?

You can find our price indication on the pricing page. Please keep in mind that this is only a guideline. The final price will be determined during your appointment.

6. Can multiple people get a tattoo during one appointment?

Yes, that is possible. It can actually be very special to get a symbolic or unique tattoo together with someone. Please make sure to state this clearly when filling out the contact form, so we can take this into account when scheduling the appointment.

7. Do you also tattoo fingers?

No, we do not tattoo fingers. The skin on the fingers wears down faster and constantly renews itself, which often causes a tattoo in this area to fade or blur more quickly than on other parts of the body. This can lead to disappointment and extra costs for touch-ups. Therefore, we cannot properly guarantee the quality of a finger tattoo.

8. Can you also do a touch-up of an existing tattoo?

Yes, you can get a touch-up with us for an existing tattoo that was not done by us. Regular costs apply for this, just as with a new tattoo. This is because the artist needs time to reassess, prepare, and where necessary, reshape the design so that the result is as beautiful as possible once again.

9. What are the costs for a touch-up that I had done at your place?

Did you get your tattoo done with us and notice within a maximum of two months that a touch-up is needed? Please let us know. In that case, the touch-up is free of charge.

10. Do you charge per hour?

We do not charge by the hour, but based on the size and complexity of the design. You can find a general price indication on our pricing page. Do you have a larger design that requires more preparation and time? Then we can discuss together whether a project-based price is a better fit. If you have a specific budget in mind, you can of course let us know. We are happy to think along with you about what is possible within your budget.

11. When can I see the drawing of my design?

For larger projects, our artists try to have a sketch ready about a week in advance. The final design is ready on the day of the appointment, so you can see the end result then. Are there still small adjustments needed? Then those can usually still be made at that moment. For other tattoos, you will see the design on the day of your appointment. Even then, there is usually still room for small adjustments.

12. Do you also accept cash?

Yes, you can pay with us both in cash and by card.

13. How long am I not allowed to swim or exercise with a new tattoo?

Until two weeks after getting your tattoo, we advise against swimming or putting intense strain on the tattooed area during exercise. During this period, you should also avoid the sun, sunbed, sauna, and steam bath. Additionally, keep in mind that tattooed skin remains sensitive to sunlight, even after healing. Therefore, always protect your tattoo well with sunscreen.
